Book Review

Cormac McCarthy has done it again. The Road is a novel in which love and violence co-exist to form the perfect story for after the end of the world. The two protagonists must battle hunger and the decision whether or not to take their own lives. Their main goal is to get to the coast before the heart of winter hits. In my opinion, The Road combines action and adventure and is a perfect read for somebody who is looking to get a little scare. It is definitely very descriptive, and they spend a lot of time talking, but other than that, it was one of the best books that I have read in a long time. I highly recommend it to anybody within the ages of 15-50. You will begin to appreciate life a little more after reading this book. It really does put everything in perspective. What if the world ended tomorrow? Would you be able to see through the bad and extract the good?
